Deacon Rich Burns was ordained a deacon of the Diocese of Ogdensburg on
October 7, 2017 and is assigned to serve St Mary's and St Patrick's
parishes. He is also the director of the Rite of Christian Initiation of
Adults. Deacon Rich has a degree in electrical engineering from Clarkson
University and works for National Grid as Manager of Customer and
Community Engagement. He and his wife, Kathy, have one adult son, Michael,
and have lived in Potsdam since 1991.
